Hayil, Valiant Warrior

Inspired by Blu Atlas, by Atlantis, Hayil bursts with fresh top notes of Bergamot and red currant that settle into an outdoor adventure paved with earthy oakmoss and white musk. Though designed for men, many women wear this gorgeous fragrance.

Hayil speaks of a person such as David, whose heart seeks God, and trusts Him for victories over giants - someone who strives to be a valiant warrior and steps out from the ordinary into the path God has set before them.

Hayil חַיִל pronounced "khah'-yil" is the Hebrew term for valor used over 200 times in the Old Testament, often of mighty armies. It also described David in 1 Samuel 6:18. Then one of the servants answered and said, “Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him.”

Why did God choose David?
1 Samuel 13:14 "... The LORD has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has appointed him as ruler over His people ...”

How did David become king?
Acts 13:22 - “He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.’

Sophisticated enough to wear in the boardroom, and fresh enough for every day. Wear Hayil as a reminder of the unlikely youngest son of Jessee who sought God in everything. He dared to face Goliath and made plenty of mistakes, but David continued to look to God--trusting Him and thanking Him for the many gracious gifts He bestowed.

Let each whiff inspire you to do what God has called you to do, even when others fear to try.

Hayil. A valiant warrior of God.
